Returning to Asos using Parcel Connect

This was the first time that I sent a parcel using Fastway’s Parcel Connect service. I’ve used it several times to receive items and never had any real issues, however, I always found Parcel Motel quicker and the 24 hour lockers give it the edge over Parcel Connect for me. I needed to return some items to Asos. They offer three free ways to return items – a prepaid An Post label, prepaid Parcel Connect label or return via MyReturns.ie. I used An Post’s ReturnMyShopping.ie service to return another parcelĀ  to Boohoo so thought I’d give Parcel Connect’s return service a try for comparison.

The process to get a prepaid label is very straightforward.

  • Go to the ParcelConnect.ie/return
  • Select which store to drop off the parcel to
  • Enter in the Asos order number
  • Confirm and print the label.
  • Attach the label to the parcel ensuring all other labels are removed/covered up
  • Drop off to the select store.
Date Status
Wed, 14:25 Dropped into Parcel Connect point
Thur, 10:25 Collected by Fastway Courier
Friday, 22:35 Left the Fastway Depot
Sat, 14:30 Marked as delivered by Fastway
Wed, 15:00 Received email from Asos confirming return

It took a week from dropping off the parcel to receiving confirmation from Asos that they had processed the return an issued a refund. Compared so some of my other experiences returning online purchases it was very easy and straightforward. I’d definitely use them again
